These Terms govern your use of Eduro. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please don't use the Service.

1. Plain-English summary

  • Use Eduro to learn, not to break things.
  • You own the content you create. We don't claim it.
  • Pro is a recurring subscription. Cancel anytime in one click — no retention games.
  • We provide Eduro “as is.” We'll do our best, but we can't guarantee perfect uptime or that every lesson will be exactly what you needed.
  • If a court orders us to limit damages, the cap is what you paid us in the previous 12 months.

2. Who can use Eduro

You must be at least 13 years old (or the digital-consent age in your country, if higher). If you're using Eduro on behalf of a company, you agree to these Terms on its behalf and confirm you're authorized to do so.

3. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your password (or social sign-in) safe.
  • You may not share your account, sell access to it, or impersonate someone else.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access, email security@eduro.app immediately.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, mirror, or republish course content without permission.
  • Reverse-engineer the Service or interfere with its operation.
  • Upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content (including but not limited to malware, CSAM, defamation, hate speech).
  • Use the AI chat feature to harass, defraud, or violate any third party's rights.
  • Resell access to the Service in any form.
  • Attempt to bypass paywalls, gates, or rate limits.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules — usually with notice, but immediately for severe or repeated violations.

5. Subscriptions and payment

5.1 Free tier

The free tier is genuinely free forever — no expiry, no time-bombs. You get every course, mini-game, quest, prompt and progress tracking locally.

5.2 Pro tier

  • Monthly: $9 / month, billed at the start of each period.
  • Annual: $79 / year, billed once and renews annually until cancelled.
  • Prices are in US dollars. VAT/GST is added where applicable.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe.

5.3 Promo codes

Codes like LAUNCH25 and EARLYBIRD apply at Stripe checkout for the durations stated. We may withdraw or modify promo codes at any time, but we will honor codes already applied to active subscriptions.

5.4 Cancellation

Cancel any time from /billing — one click opens Stripe's customer portal. You keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period; no further charges occur.

5.5 Refunds

We offer refunds at our discretion within 14 days of the first charge, provided you haven't earned a certificate or used the AI chat extensively. Email billing@eduro.app.

5.6 Price changes

If we change Pro pricing, existing subscribers keep their original price for at least 12 months after the change. We give 30 days notice via email.

6. Your content

Anything you create on Eduro — voice-over uploads, chat messages, ratings, feedback — remains yours. By uploading, you grant Eduro a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store and display it back to you so we can operate the Service. This license ends when you delete the content.

You confirm that anything you upload doesn't infringe anyone's rights and that you have permission to use it.

7. Our content

Courses, lessons, mini-games, quests, prompts, illustrations, the skill tree artwork, certificate designs, the “Eduro” name, and the brand are owned by Eduro (or licensed to us). Use them only for personal learning. Don't republish, re-host, or re-sell.

Certificates you earn are yours to share. They prove completion, not employment — we can't certify employer recognition.

9. AI content disclaimer

Output from the AI Tools chat is generated by external AI models. It may be wrong, outdated, or weird. Eduro doesn't guarantee accuracy. Don't rely on AI output for medical, legal, or financial decisions.

10. Availability and changes

We do our best to keep the Service running but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Major changes get 30 days notice where possible.

11. Termination

You can stop using Eduro any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if continued service would violate any law, or if we decide to wind down the Service.

On termination, you lose access to Pro features and the ability to download new certificates. You can still request a copy of your data per the Privacy Policy.

12. Warranty disclaimer

Eduro is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind — express or implied. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eduro's total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service is capped at the greater of (a) $50 USD, or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are never liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Eduro from any claim or demand by a third party arising out of your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, United Kingdom, except where consumer-protection laws in your country require otherwise.

16. Changes to these Terms

We'll change the “Last updated” date when we revise these Terms. For material changes affecting Pro subscribers, we'll email you 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
